The Toon Town Police Department (TTPD) is the primary law enforcement agency in Toon Town, although what passes for both law and enforcement makes the TTPD very unlike their Hollywood counterparts. They are one of the only police forces who get chased by criminals as often as they do the chasing, but this is seen as fair by most toons.
History
The TTPD was founded after the concept of crime crossed over from the human world. Both crime and crime prevention were deemed to be too interesting to ignore, unlike other more boring concepts that had failed to take hold in the Animation, such as chartered accountancy and ennui.
Organization
The current TTPD chief of police is George "Growler" Grumbles.
