Pygmalion syndrome is a psychological condition unique to animators, where they experience intense attraction, love, or lust for toons that they have drawn. Those afflicted can become obsessive, seeing radical changes in their behavior as they focus solely on the objects of their desire. Due to the reclusive nature of animators, it is most commonly left untreated.
Although technically not terminal in nature, Pygmalion syndrome can still lead to death via the natural toon response to unwanted romantic attention: extreme physical violence.
