Mightosaurus was the name given to a living specimen of what was presumed to be a previously-undiscovered species of dinosaur, but which is now known to have been a diminutive kaiju, possibly a juvenile. It was a four-legged obligate carnivore approximately sixty feet from nose to tail, with a disproportionately large head measuring twelve feet long by five feet across. It made several appearances in the Los Angeles area (now the City of Hollywood) in the year 1911, where it caused property damage and multiple fatalities.
